Stephan D. Trocmé, M.D. provides eye care for corneal eye diseases and dry eye as well as cataract surgery for Houston and Galveston area patients at The Eye Clinic of Texas. Dr. Stephan D. Trocmé is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in detection and treatment of conditions on the cornea, anterior segment surgery such as cataract surgery and he also has performed LASIK and PRK refractive surgery since 1994.

Dr. Trocmé is former Director of Ocular Surface Services at Case Western University in Cleveland and former Director of Cornea Services at UTMB in Galveston and has performed numerous clinical trials in ocular inspection, dry eye and cataract surgery.

Dr.Trocmé earned his medical degree at Karolinkska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Mayo Clinic.  He received his Ocular Immunology Fellowship and Cornea Fellowship from the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at
Harvard.
